All this talk about Aphex Twin going off the boil. Am I alone in never
having rated him ? Since I saw a live set of his about 3 years ago (I
guess) I was unimpressed enough to carefully avoid his stuff. What I have
heard since has never made me re-consider this approach ;-).
There's so much good stuff around I very occaisionally feel the need to
take a harsh and unreasoned view such as this - there's only so much
money and so much listening time....
It was nice to see he has a sense of humour though, giving away sand
paper discs...who's the joke on though ? Certainly not whoever owned the
turntables he was using (or whoever spun after him) :-)
