Number 19 responds: Out here in Nashville, Tower has the game. There's one indie record shoppe, which I try to buy as much as I can from, but most times what I want can only be had through Tower. I mail order a whole bunch -- what I cannot buy locally -- but there ain't nothin' like the physical act of digging through the crates, searching for vinyl. I got real spoiled when I lived out in Austin, where you got yer Waterloo, Sound Exchange (right down the Drag from Tower), et al. and a shitload of incredible resale shoppes too. The selections available at Tower have grown wider, but the underground stuff will always be _the_ stuff. Keeping up with what the folks out here have to say reminds me how much cool music there is being made today. Peace, 19.
