[V/A] : New Electronica Sampler (New Electronica)
This features three tracks by artists on Eevolute, Stefan Robbers label.
Taken from the forthcoming _Agenda 22_ compilation, these tracks are just
amazing. The 2000 & 1 (the Planet Gong guy I think) track is the best but
the whole EP is just lazy, liquid-cooled ambi-techno. One of the tracks
sounds like The Dust Brothers crossed with Global Comms. Very tasty.
Laurent Garnier : A Shot In The Dark (F Communications)
Not the ground-breaking album I was expecting but its still an accomplished
release, mainly due to the fact that Laurent mixes house, techno, acid
and more besides and it instead of sounding like a horrible fractured mess,
it actually _works_. The yellow transluscent vinyl also has the _Aural
Sex_ track which is not actually listed on the album sleeve. Very, erm,
erotic.

Okay, okay; so this is not IDM, nor is it new. Its just so damn good I
thought it deserved another mention. _Chaos Chamber_ just keeps blowing
me away...
