Woob CD with penguins on the cover just arrived at my local Tower. I have only heard their track on the em:t with the frogs on the cover. Anyone familiar with this? I prefer stuff that has beats. I bought my first Orb CD, the Peel sessions, I left the record store chanting the mantra "all orb is good" ... I dunno, I guess I'll have to listen to it some more.

_woob1194_ is great. Slowly evolving, synth-heavy pieces with a modicum of samples (from where? I only recognize the Star Trek bits). Sort of like the Orb... in a more serious mood. :) _void, part one_ is more beat/dub oriented than the album. If you can find the _void, part two_ 12" you'll get a continuation of part one, a version that sounds like SPK(!)
