I don't know the specific tracks being discussed, so this might get filed
under vinyl trivia:
if the bass is very strong and they didn't compensate for it when
cutting the vinyl master (either by lowering just the bass or bringing
everything down across the board to maintain the predominance of bass)
it could definitely cause your needle to bounce. this isn't that rare of
a problem, especially with low budget dance-oriented stuff.
