Just got Sven Vath's new one and also a trance sort of super
group comprised of Air Liquide and other folks on Rising High.
Sven Vath's new one is very good, I just had certain favorite
parts on Accident In Paradise, but the new record is very good, a mix
of ambient bits with very cool trancy stuff. I have the CD and
the packaging from Germany these days are all the fold-out-nice
paper design and it's kind of cool. The Rising High record is
called Electronic Dub, and it's the best space-dub I've heard
ever. The tracks seem to be a prefection from the one track off
of the last Air Liquide album, the one with the hip-hopy beats
and all. This record takes that to higher levels, shortwave radio
samples, guitar riff samples, and loads of melodic acid lines
create a beautiful "electronic dub" soundscape. Two great records.
