Also they will be collaborating with Autechre in the near future, according to the most recent Autechre newsletter. I guess that explains why they're listed in the shout-out section on 'Black Light District'. I hope the team-up is more along the lines of 'worship the glitch' in terms of textures/timbres, but with Autechre's polyrhythms - that would be wicked indeed... GD 'Ka-wa wookie!' [Jabba the Hut]

ok, revealing my ignorance: can anyone supply a coil primer? i'm more interested in ambient/glitch-related material, less interested in heavy industrial sounds (if that even applies). someone suggested "time machines," i believe... thanks for indulging me. I've liked a lot of Coil stuff, but their last two releases (the 20' To 2000 thing and Musick To Play In The Dark Vol. 1) have just blown me away. Truly stunning.
