Ok, I just got off the phone with Grants girlfriend, Claire, and here's the deal. The phone number included in previous versions of the Rephlex discography shouldnt have been there - It was there when the discography was returned to me from Rephlex and, therefore, it was distributed in that condition. Grant and Claire frequently get calls in the middle of the night from overseas, with people asking such questions as "Can I speak to the Aphex Twin?" As you can imagine, this is not too amusing. Rephlex is a bedroom record label folks, and there is a 5 hour time difference between here, where I am, and London. Richard James doesnt live with Grant and Claire, and they dont appreciate being woke up in the middle of the night. If you called during regular work hours, then Claire would only be too happy to talk to you and help you out with anything you need. Basically, just be considerate. As for the matter of rumours and the like, we came to an agreement by which I will re-send the discograpies back to Rephlex and they will make any necessary changes. I will then be updated on all new Rephlex information so that you may know the truth on whats happening. Thats all for now, I'll let you know more as it comes in. _______ (__,-, \ / /\ \ Alan M Parry <finger me for PGP key> /,_) \ \ (/ \\ fluid@hyperreal.com :65 FD F9 9F F2 23 F8 CF: \) fluid@freezer.cns.udel.edu :80 9C 11 AA 9F 92 0D 27:

Its called an "answering machine." Even better, why not take the damn number off the discography? Frankly, I find it hard to believe that you can take a hard attitude against people calling when YOU put the number in the disc.! Sheez! I learned long ago that people are stupid (including myself), you should've expected it... -- Brian Hostetler http://sparrow.bio.indiana.edu/brian/me '...most of it is radical hip drug culture overload. Obviously, the first thing to do is set up some simple methodology and see if you can't study the experiences under control laboratory conditions.'

Well I did, weeks ago. Problem is that there is a few old copies floating around.

Thing is, it didnt happen quite like that. Besides, its more a matter of common courtesy than anything else. _______ (__,-, \ / /\ \ Alan M Parry <finger me for PGP key> /,_) \ \ (/ \\ fluid@hyperreal.com :65 FD F9 9F F2 23 F8 CF: \) fluid@freezer.cns.udel.edu :80 9C 11 AA 9F 92 0D 27:

There's a marvellous invention out now for dealing with after-hour phone calls. Its called an "answering machine."
