The new Under One Sky 'zine (#15) just came out which features interviews with Pete Namlook (aka FAX Records), Mike Dred (Diatymyc Records & Kosmik Kommando), Erik Van Den Broek (Techno House Technician), Robert Gordon (UK), U-Trax records, as well as DJ charts from around the world and very recent record reviews (MuZiq, Beaumont & Hannant, Luke Slater, Basic Channel, Jeff Mills, Robert Armani, etc.) There's an article on the future of ambient music with opinions from David Morley (R&S/Apollo Records), Exist Dance Records, Ken Ishi (+8, R&S/Apollo), Thomas Fehlman (Sun Electric, Orb, etc.), Fat Cat Records in London, etc. Quite interesting to read I must say considering the recent posts on here on the subject. There's also an article by Rob Shea called "Ambient Stream of Consciousness: where is it all going" that attempts to define ambient, quoting IDM's own Ambient Mike (aka Mike Brown) taken from the ambient archives on hyperreal.com, and attempts to define its direction. Under One Sky is produced by Heather Lotruglio (aka Heather Heart) who can be reached at 2249 E. 21 St., Brooklyn, NY 11229 phone & fax (718)646-8077
