according to an interview in frontpage (german mag), the mouse on mars
album (vulvaland) started off as a tape they made for themselves to be
played in their car. they were looking for a label, had an offer by recycle
or die, which they turned down being afraid of going to be sold out, and
they didn't like the other stuff on the label anyway... then they sent the
tape to seefeel (via too pure) to ask them where they could possibly
release that kind of stuff, and too pure called them back and brought them
their tape, pressed on cd, sound enhanced. so releasing on too pure was
more or less an accident. that's the story...
from the sound of the interview, they seem to be pretty nice guys...
