Are postings by non-list-members really *that* much of a problem that they should be bounced? I'm subscribed to the list at two different addresses, both of which resolve to the same machine, because of variants in the way outgoing mail from here is addressed. -- Lazlo (lazlo@rt66.com)

Fluid is better to comment on this as I've only recently readded myself to the idm-owner alias (to make sure hyperreal stuff gets handled right), but I know from SFRaves that limiting it to list members only saves the list from seeing about 7 "subscribe me" posts a week, plus various posts not related to SFRaves. *shrug*.
