I just got a copy of "Sour Times" by Portishead. It is the boss.
There are loads of mixes but my favourite is the John Barry-sixties
soundtrack type mix. This is at least as good as Numb. Perfect for
those summer haze days. Does anyone know anything about their film? I
think its called "To kill a dead man". If you know where I can see it
drop me a line. Preferably in the North of England.
I also got a copy of the new Reload/Global Communications 12". The
track is very like the one on AI2. It starts with muttering, then
come the washy synthe then the break. They do what they do best. This
tune moves me.
