I remember reading a review last year about a CD on the PowWow Trance label by either Banks or Mills of Underground Resistance. Does anyone know if this is still available and what the title is? Also, i was at the library today, goin through the last few months of Keyboard Magazine, when I spoted a letter to the editor by Kenny Larkin of Detroit MI. It was quite interesting and if you happen to see Keyboard on the newstand check it out! In essence he calls most techno from England just bleeps and sampling with no melody. I found the issue he was referring to and it had the Orb, Aphex Twin and Orbital in it, talking stuff about samplers. He also gave Keyboard shit about not coming round to Detroit to talk to Juan Atkins, and Derrick May. time...space...transmat@teleport.com bleep on!

The album by Jeff Mills is called "Waveform Transmission, Vol 1" Don't know if that's the one you're looking for or if it's available but I hope that helps. ___ / / / / / / _ __/ (_/__/ / (__ (__ ___/

ah i have this. its under the name X-103, and im sure it was originally out on Axis (mill's label) then licenced to Tresor in berlin. Anyway, id say its worth getting if you generally like mills, and idm stuff cos its a mix of bastard hard soundscapes and dreamy floatiness. i heard someoneles here rate it. The single 'the gardens'(?) from it has a much better mix than it does on atlantis, if you see it. Chris.
