This may have been a bit premature... A quick (gasps for breath) tour of Newcastle three nearest tune stores have reavealed that (according to them) it's not out till next Monday... One guy said he'd had some postcards of the cover...("Yes!" said greg)... but they'd all gone :( Will check out Trax and Bass Generator later... Anyone else care to offer info? Mr. WARP spy?? greg 3 0 3

The only names i can remember are Jon Drukman, Greg 303, and ucm90... (something like that). The idm-snippets are on the gatefold sleeve. They were pieces of mail from 1993 regarding the first Artificial Intelligence compilation i think.

I saw the album and CD at two or three recordshops in Amsterdam (I didn't buy it though!!). The Blackdog track was 'Parasight' which was also on the EP on Rising High half a year ago. The B12 track was indeed the 'Porpoise ....' thing from Party Zone. Polygon Window's track was called 'Tea Party' or something.......

I think The Designers Republic or Warp got some stuff from the idm-archives, as Chris mentioned before.

I bought the 2CD today. Most idm-things are unreadable. The posts are dated 6 and 7 december 1993.

I'm sorry, the 'Porpoise...' track is 'Symmetry' by Speedy J. (Polygon Window's...)

It's called 'My Teapot' :) It's quite different from everything i know by Mr. James. I don't know yet if i like it (yet). The Seefeel track is 'Spangle', which was also on their last EP. Some first impressions: HIA, Speedy J, Beau Hannant, Darrel Fitton and Kenny Larkin sound very good (Balil too of course, but i already knew that one), but my favourite at the moment is the track by Link. Mark Franklin and Richard Kirk's tracks disappointed me a bit. The rest is OK. No, it is in fact partly readable. It's just all scrambled up. -- +-----------------------------------+ | Hans Veneman | | E-mail: veneman@tv99ad.hacktic.nl | | phone: +31(0)3200-35266 | +-----------------------------------+

Hmmmm. But the question is how did they get to hear about it (IDM) and why aren't they contributing now? (or are they?).

As I recall, Greg, you had a vrave account called greg303, but you forgot the password so you had to create a new account on vrave called greggy303. Cosmic
