Well, whatever the state of play in the US, Lifeforms is available over here (as of yesterday) - went into Virgin last night with my plastic clutched in my hot little hand and came out UKP13 lighter. And, on first listening, well worth it; for some reason, it reminded me of Mixmaster Morris without the beats. Unlike Brendan, Autechre et al, I think it's great and well worth getting - very floaty, lots of strange noises (also bears a certain resemblance to Silence by Namlook/Atmo) I'll be playing it quite a lot over the next few weeks, I feel; the acid test (will I come back to it in 6 months time) is obviously (as yet) unresolved. well, it's the first day that the sun is out for ages (in bradford - it's grim up north :) and i'm listening to lifeforms and it's fucking brilliant. for me. :) also, on the inside cover, it says (i presume) that there's a new amorphous androgynous release, enviroments, or is this an old one? and i know that song that domain has throughout it, but i can't for the life of me remember the name or context of the song. there are parts of lifeforms that would go so well with a film (and they _still_ sound excellent alone...) that i can't wait to see the video, and just hope it's up to scratch. :) and finally (here he goes again!) would anyone like to swap and fsol stuff for those orb cd's?? :) :) :) takus carus, jAmz

Is this a great record or what! I can't believe the folks who were saying that "it" doesn't go anywhere musically. It's the only thing on my CD player for days now. Is Environments the video, and is it released? Mohsen
