Yeah, that's a good one. Simple, yet meaningful. Nice double-entendre
with the slang "threads" (meaning 'clothes') orig. in 60's (or was it 50's beat
lingo?) I'd put in a vote for something like 'threads'. It's the
*concept* that
has potential media interest, not necessarily the title. Although a title like
'threads' also ties together :-) many currently-popular concepts like
'global village' and 'multiculturalism' (since cultural identity is strongly
connected to one's customary and native clothing or 'threads'....).
How about some artwork that is close-ups of multi-colored braided
ribbon cable [hooked to a serial port]? Threads of wire (the close-ups will
look like colored cloth). Or maybe even actual 'cloth' woven from multi-
colored wire or even optical fiber (with the ends glowing, of course).
