As of about 30 mins ago, I offer my sincerest and humblest apologies to Mr. Carl Craig, whom I had slighted by bringing into disrepute his 69 '4 jazz funk classics'. I totally withdraw my previous statement wrt this vinyl, I've just relistened to said record and... the track that Andy Weatherall drove a whole crowd mad with, at Sabresonic, teasing and taunting with it's hypnotic and addictive melody, is none other than 'my machine' from the aforementioned EP. I had it all along. Duurrrr. Sinks in to floor at this point.... "very disappointed"...bollocks... it's awesome!! (But I still don't like ladies & gentlemen....However it could grow on me :) I also discovered that the 'ragga machines' interlude bit during 'my machine' is very very familiar. Is this the original source of many samples? (likely) or was it sampled? (less likely) greg now enlightened 3 0 3
