Just saw the new Apollo release by Uzect Plaush, with something about "more happiness to the people" or somesuch phrase. Someone here mentioned it a while back; I too noticed that R&S had taken out full-page ads for MM and NME for this. Info please, anyone? Music is written by a Paul Schultze I think. Speaking of MBV and guitar bands, how about Insides? They're on the 4AD-sublabel Guernica and make some really beautiful music. The debut album is "Euphoria" and it sounds like listening to an addict tell her sordid story in a Chinese opium den, filled with smoke and foreign scents. Or something like that. The last single for Guernica was "Clear Skin", an incredible 37-minute piece... James.

Its "More Beautiful Human Life!". Don't know what it sounds like. I think its cat. is AMB 4932. AMB 4931 is the new Tournesol album "Kokotsu". And I don't know what that ones like either. Well I had a chance to listen to "More Beautiful Human Life!" some more and it's very good. It's spacy dub tracks linked through short ambient sound scapes. The main tracks are very melodic, some of which reminded me of stuff put out on Recycle Or Die lable (e.g. Baked Beans). Definite record of the month. Mohsen
