Hi everyone! OK: so Kraftwerk were great technicians. But this music will reach it`s peak when it`s being produced by musicians who understand the machinery perfectly, rather than scientists who know sod all about music. I reckon that idm has begun to really mature in the last year or so. In London there`s a great feeling that the scene is beginning to really pick up: Mixmaster Morris talks about how he`s shocked by how far we`ve come in the last year, both commercially and artist ically. Glad qris got Cosmic Strings. Anyone else want a copy? I`ll ask Megatripolis crew about the Grand Canyon, but if they`re not going, I`ll come! I could play there if someone puts it on, and I definitely want to play at one of Pete`s Utah dos... I have also been listening to "Accelerator" a lot lately, as well as "The Traveller`s Dream" by Aedena Cycle which is smart. I`ve also been listening to X-Clan which is like space rap (??), quite idmy in parts in a Cosmic Ark sort of way... Anyway, I`ve got to go now! Bye! Brendan Nelson Lost Transmission From Cowley

Amen to that! Now I'm just waiting to see who's going to be daring enough to take "musicians who understand the machinery perfectly" as a name for his group...

^^^^^^^^^^^^ So what was he referring to? (I'm not too well informed about the London scene) Amorphous' Tales of Ephedrina? Anything special I ought to check out? Fredrik
