In the same issue the new FSOL album is reviewed. Only 2/5 rating. The reviewer says that after a while he's yearning for the disco drama of "Ephidrina". "'Lifeforms' is just 90 minutes of rolling ambient soup with themes boiling to the surface only to immediately disappear again. This is Classic FM 2000." Speaking of FSOL, are they the flavour of the month with the jungle crowd or what? I just listened to a compilation I got in the mail, "Into The Jungle" from Kickin' Records, and several tracks feature huge chunks from FSOL. "Mountain Goat", "Papua New Guinea", "Ephidrina" - all hidden under heavy breakbeats, of course, but still... Kinda cute. - chris@minsk.docs.uu.se
