My copy of Richard James new triple LP is titled. . . Selected Ambient Works Vol. 2 ~~~~~~~ The quote Pete was mentioning was specifically tied to the DANCE MUSIC genre currently sleeping the nation. . .trance. So, i'm not convinced that we should apply Richard's commentary about trance to an ambient album. (sew buttons, not snaps) ~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~ Unless Pete's copy is titled Selected Trance Works Vol. 2. ~~~~~~ Let's hang onto that *3 note quote* and see how pertinent it is when we start soaking in Analouge Bubblebath 4. Which, if the early reports are true, should be a DANCE MUSIC offering in the bubblebath standard. Teep
