I picked up the AFX: Analogue Bubblebath EP a week ago and it's occured to me that this is probably a pretty good sampler of what AFX does... Track 1--analogue bubblebath is a lot like his selected ambient works i album (haven't heard the second one yet) track 2--isopropophlex is more like his polygon window stuff (the harder afx) track 3--entrance to exit i'm not sure where this fits i really like it, but it sounds like a richard james meets the smart e's....heh heh, don't let this discourage you...i really dig it.....kinda like really heavy fat breakbeat... track 4--a f x 2 is kinda like a cross between 1 & 3....but anyways.... i figured this is a good sampling to those interested in learning about richard james, and depending on what songs you like....you can branch out into areas you like... -john (handi)
