Hey! My first mail. I'm subscribing to this list because it's the suggested location for discussion of techno/ambient. I've recently gone on a buying spree of sorts -- selling back some of my 'alternative' purchases to finance it ... Current faves: Orb Live 93, Amorphous Androgynous, Orbital Peel Sessions ... And I have credentials in this sub-genre, since I bought electronic music as far back as the 70's -- Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk, Wendy Carlos, et al. Plus being an eno fan back to to the first Roxy Music LP. I like Moby too ... and I'm waiting for the E mail to wash over me and help me become an intelligent consumer.
