i guess i should have given you the context of my listening. . .which
goes like so. . .dj duo (qe2) was making a tape called ACID STAT
which was as you might guess. . .vital acid. . .(from zone e to edgebam)
it was in the mix. . .then toward the end of the tape comes this
somewhat more *improvised* and less structured (whatever) piece that
held it's share of radom musings. . .i think that's why i enjoyed it
for the fact that it sounded somewhat *on the loose* and after a
full hour plus of straight ahead *compositions* it was rephreshing
:) -yea, that's the ticket
and some t for todd t,
. . .i'm sort of pleasantly pleased that Todd Terry's sound
didn't get popular. . .there were five copies of *the blackjack*
enough for me and my imaginary friends ;)
the blackjack has got some spooky organ sounds. . .and crazy phlange
(thus the rj comparison) and for sure will not be heard in any clubs
but has a home in the underground . . .along with techno
