On Mar 7, 4:53pm, you proclaimed: } talking of Orbital (as I believe someone was) - check out their remixes of } the Inspiral Carpets song Saturn 5, they are, as you might say, top notch! } If you're interested, they're on the remix c.d (dung 23r) on Mute Records. Oh no! Not another edition of "Did We Buy The Same Thing?"! I have dung23cdr, as well as the normal issue. 2 remixes ("Gravity Surge mix, and High Energy Mix) are done by Paul Van Dijk, and then there's another song called "Party in the Sky - Donkey Mix" remixed by Dub Federation. I wasn't impressed by them. Is Paul Van Dijk a psuedonym for Orbital? And, will Orbital's "Impact" ever come out on CD? Brian

Which single are we talking about here? Is it the new one with Mark E. Smith (the Fall) on guest vocals? | Dave Walker, Detroit Art Services (DAS) | | | | marmoset@msen.com At this point things get a little hazy. |

Paul Van Dyk is a German trance DJ who is apparently pretty famous, having mixed the X-Mix-1 thing as well as being in Visions of Shiva and doing that MFS thing. Isn't "Impact" on the Peel Sessions? If so, it should be on CD. Jonathan eabu751@orion.oac.uci.edu

There was a remix of Impact recently released by FFRR in the States which isn't available on a UK release and doesn't feature on the Peel Sessions. I believe it's only available on 12" (or at least there aren't any shops in the UK picking up on the CD single if it exists). -- Stephen Hebditch TQM Communications steveh@orbital.demon.co.uk
