About whether Electro-Soma is emotive or dull...
It`s weird that this album should come up because I had been wondering for
ages whether or not I really like it...
If I sit down and listen to a track I think "this is a good track, I should
like this", but then if I just play it I hardly notice it. I`d say that
Electro-soma is constructed to be an evocative album so accurately that
somehow it doesn`t work. Maybe it`s because us idmers are so cynical. From
what Neal said about those kids, and I`ve noticed that a lot of my non-idm
friends reckon it`s better than a lot of my other stuff, I think that it`s
_the_ archetypal idm album and that`s what turns some people off.
It does sound really good, though!
