Did the eponymous Sistol CD on Phthalo ever get released? If not, is anyone able to give a status report? ;) Checked out the ever-handy PhinnWeb page, but was hungry for more info. :) http://www.sci.fi/~phinnweb/finndiscog/delay/ Michael np. I dont believe that the Sistol has been released yet. I'll see if I can find out a release date. On the topic of Vladislav Delay, there is a new Vladislav Delay 12" on Chain Reaction out this week called Ranta. Also in the near future is the Vladislav Delay: multila cd Chain Reaction which will compile both Chain Reaction 12"s. Soon Mille Plateaux will be releasing Vladislav Delay's remastered & reworked Ele album that was previously released on Sigma Editions. Finally, Vladislav Delay will be releasing a 12" ep on Sigma Editions now under the name Conoco. So lots in the works for Vladislav Delay fans. FYI - the most recent Phthalo releases are: PH22:Ekswyzia Live @ PHTHALO studio. CDR Hard syncopation trapdrumset electronic bass with Vaudeville pianos and dense mixes. Like PH02 but a full album of it. PH25:O.S.T. Live @ Globule Mills College. CDR O.S.T. in fine noise assault form documenting another one of his transformational moments from techno stylings into beastial manic displays of disaster and mishap. I cannot say enough about this fucker who pulls more and more blood out of his veins every next liveset and pours it all over the venue for us to marvel at. Superhuman feats... PH16: Stalaktiten och Mirjam: Angestmakin MANUFACTURED CD Insect genes mutating in a vacuum; That keeps jumping into my head when I listen to this. It is rigorous synthesis and all the tiny detailed mutating noises bloops scratches ticks slaps thuds hiphop beats eq'd and cleaned out to death refined and rebuilt and refined further create some pieces of strictly computer music that will clean out any digestive system. Specialized and independent to be sure, and that's enough for history's sake. This shit is already vintage... Sistol CD is not out yet and the release date is still unknown... If we are lucky Chain Reaction will (very) soon release the new 12" and the CD. The forthcoming Mille Plateaux release will not be called Ele but will have two tracks from it. Conoco 12" (his best one so far IMHO) is already out or will be released very soon. He will perform in Berlin twice this month, for more info check the URL above. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
