You might like to talk to Steve Boswell. The rec.music.indistrial newsgroup has done exactly this kind of thing.... (and the double CD is sitting in my CD player at the moment....) Actually, the first pressing company that the group used (before Steve Boswell got involved) ran off with the money, without delivering the discs.... :-( You can mail Steve at rmi-cd@primus.com The other thing I might add is, if this is going to be dance music, have you considered pressing it up on vinyl....? I was just given an LA club rag by a friend who visited last week. Its remarkebly similar to the literature that spews forth from the "scene" publishers here. I suppose they are the same all over, copying from each other etc. Anyhow, I know this isn't strictly IDM, but I'm curious to know what this "Cloud 9" business is. Some form of herbal tea ? ;-). IDM Related: I'm trying to put togther a CD (initiall) of various artists from the Analog Heaven group. A couple of IDM related questions: 1. Would anyone here on IDM be interested in buying such a CD ? It'd be mainly Techno/trance, mostly made with wierd analog gear etc. I'm insisting on high standards, so the music'd compare well to say, the Artificial intelligence series. I'd be selling the competitively. 2. Have any of you done this sort of thing before? I'm particularly keen to find the cheapest CD pressing plants etc. Ta, Mark
