Just to add to the Orb discussion. For those that are hacked by what seems to be the slow relaease of a new album or other material, it is a widely known fact that the Orb are dissatisfied with their current label arrangements. Thus, in order to peeve executives and placate contractual obligations "bro evil 39" could be the last new work until their label probs are worked out. Good news though, Select magazine's interview with the Orb on tour, stated that the word is that once into a new contract or label or whatever works the Orb will release new material every month or so! %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Peace, Guido For all your R&D needs... travalen@kcmetro.cc.mo.us ~~ ~ ~ ~ ~home of The Private Conspiracy (Shhhh!)~ ~ ~ ~ ~~ %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%the Deep Thought Council%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

Yeah, that`s right. The Orb were signed to Big Life Records but left them after a lengthy negotiations just before the release of Live 93. They`re now signed to Island. They have a new single called "Pommes Fritz" (dubbed "Little Fluffy Clouds part 2") and a new album called "Orbus Terrarum" I think. However these are being delayed because Big Life are re-releasing the Orb`s back catalogue over here ("...Clouds", "Perpetual Dawn" and the Aubrey Mixes soon) and therefore preventing the Orb from releasing anything new. There you go, that`s the Orb story in as much detail as I can tell it... Just finished listening to "The Heliocentric Worlds of Sun Ra Volume 1" by Sun Ra. It appears to be the shit when it comes to free-form space jazz. Comments? Brendan Nelson Lost Transmission From Cowley
