You'd have to wonder why RDJ would be influenced by B12. Admittedly, I found Electro-Soma quite dreary and I find "On" similarly so. And besides, B12 nicked that sample off of Eno's "Apollo". Now there's good influences. :) This kind of thing is great for those "all techno sounds the same" arguments. Listen to Source's "Release It", and ain't you heard that riff ten times before. Doesn't it sound _good_, though? I've forgotten my point. Remind me not to read my mail at 3 in the morning. Oh, and about "Kinetic". Mike Hazell wrote the track and his Orbital buddies did some remixing, but R&S was only interested in picking up the Orbital remix. Under the pressure of coming up with an impromptu name for the three of them, one of the Hartnolls decided on Golden Girls because they were really into the TV show (and there were three of them, too). The track also appears on Give Peace a Dance 3 under the nameied Piper...my best guess is that's the name that Mike goes under, or they just had to come up with a name and Pied Piper was just as good as any other. I think that's all I know about it. --Seofon
