I agree, though "razormaid remixes of crap songs" could start a whole new thread :-) (not that Turn On is crap... it's one of my faves!) My heart will always have a place for razormaid because of their ability to turn the mediocre into excellence. Some examples include "On the Beam" (hubert kah? I'm not sure), the entire "how slow can u go" disc, etc... Funny note: Right after they came out (and before I'd met anyone involved), Twitch Rexix service was introduced to me (by Turntable Mary's in Portland) as 'the new razormaid project'. Ha ha. I think I told Mike this story but I'm not sure... it was a couple yrs. ago...

I always liked their track selection -- heavy on the eurotrash -- but it's rare for me to like their mixes better than the original versions. They shoveled out a lot of pathetic cut-and-paste crap. There *is* the occasional gem, though, and if you've never heard the original mix you usually don't notice how nothing the remixes are. :-) -- Lazlo (lazlo@unm.edu)

Yeah, I know other people who feel the same, but for some reason I like a lot of the razormaid mixes. -H-
