To my knowledge Atom Heart are two blokes from England who have been connected with Rising High for ages, but I could easily be wrong. Enigma`s new single ("Return To Innocence") gets on my nerves. It`s pretty corny, and I can`t help thinking that if you replaced the beat with Brian May you would have a run-of-the-mill rock ballad. Can anyone recommend any of the following: Nights of Pan album on MFS (includes "A Night On E") Jeff Mills: Waveform Vol 1 on Tresor Underground Resistance`s X-102 and X-103 projects (particularly X-102 Discovers The Rings Of Saturn) X-Crash 303+606=909 on Direct Drive (Under One Sky) Stuff on Stealth Records (such as Space Trax. The label`s put out Speedy J as well) Suburban Knight (transmat) Exist Dance It`s time I stocked up on harder techno as I`ve been buying pure ambience for months! I agree, the 3 LUX 3 video is a bit dodgy in places. Computer graphics videos are getting a bit tedious now: the best ones are organic like Evolution`s videos. My band should be doing a video and we`ll probably just take wierd films of wierd places. That sort of thing is more original, i think. Also: Reload`s album is better than the On remix. The On mix is more accessible but the album covers so much ground and is serious, quality stuff. It goes from slightly mad avant-techno like Mosh and Event Horizon to beautiful strings-laden hip-hop-beat-using sunrise trax like Le Soleil Et La Mer, to pure ambience on tracks like The Enlightenment. Definitely one of the best albums of 1993. Brendan Nelson "Sit back, relax and chill as I thrill The K`s back, I`m not here to ill" - Leila K (Got to Get) Ironic pseudo-pretentious use of crappy lyric
