I was wondering if anyone has heard these titles, what you think of them, and where I could order them in the U.S. The one I'm most interested in is "Stellar Supreme," supposed to be an excellent full-length LP. There's also "23", a "mini-LP with 4 tracks" (why don't they just call it an EP?). The only Cosmic Baby stuff I've heard are the tracks "Heaven's Tears" and "Space Track" (the latter on _Trance Europe Express_), but I really like it! It's the kind of melodic, non-boring trance I'm looking for. Any info would be appreciated. --Max t R A V E l e r "Let the rhythm be your guiding light" --- End of forwarded message from cirop55@ufcc.ufl.edu

Cosmic Baby also has two singles on the ESP:a Techno Trance Compilation. The first on is called "Hear Yourself Dreaming" and the second one is called "Cosmikk Trigger 2" They both sound the same, but they are good, in a sonic-ee type way.......

cosmic baby=visions of shiva=veinmelter=futurhythm=.5*energy 52 the cosmic baby stuff is the full length "stellar supreme" release, the ep "23", the 12" "heaven's tears", the brand new 12" "loops of infinity", and another older one i forget the name of.. there are also new mixes in the promo stage right now of loops of infinity by jam & spoon and arpegiattors.. i highly suggest the heaven's tears 12" (slightly hard to find now) and the brand new loops of infinity 12" which is rather easy to find right now.. the new one is on logic, the others on mfs.. visions of shiva have 2 12"'s, "perfect day" and "how much can you take", both very good, perfect day being the superior of the two.. energy 52 is his collaboration with kid paul and also highly suggested.. the veinmelter & futurhythm releases are both slightly harder and less melodic and i can't fill in much information on those.. to provide an alternate view of stellar supreme the full length cd, i like it, but it is still clearly inferior to the 12" releases.. some of the songs on the cd are almost too melodically simple at times, but overall the cd is quite worth the money.. if you like cosmic's other material (like the space track on t.e.ex.) then you'll like stellar supreme too.. otherwise, it's not really for you.. also, the new 12" mentions another upcoming full length release entitled "thinking about myself"..

There's a track I keep hearing by Cafe del Mar on Eyq-Q, which (I think) is called Energy 52. Any connection....? Anyone know how old it is....? Cosmic

actually the song is cafe del mar and its *by* energy 52.. and yes, it is the only song i know of by them.. there are several remixes of it though, i think.. the originals are the kid paul and cosmic baby remixes, and i believe there were others after that which i don't have so i can't fill in on those..

To: idm@techno.Stanford.EDU To that chappy from Denmark who I was talking to about Yokota, and subsequently deleted his mail, so I now have no idea who he is, these are the Yokota tracks I supposedly have... Alphabeat Arcadia Salacious Divine Light Indo Tribe Santimonious Totem Pole The Squisher Symantec Siberian Shinkansen Nutty Nintendo Loosing It Carasel (wonder if that's the correct spelling?) Ascension Scubonic Breathless in Time Navaho Pow-Wow Phesephony Frolics Hula Hoop Mental Merry-Go-Round Reverential Karma Sutra And one Yokota and Ray Castle collaberation, "Protoza" by Blissed (which I now recall is what Ray and Yokota call themselves). I wonder, has anyone got anything by Blissed? They might of got a deal sorted by now. Quite nice song names really... I would guess that's a tad over 2.5 hours of Yokota (on a 3 hour DAT tape). I tried to get it copied onto normal tape at a recording studio owned by some people I know, but their DAT machine didn't like it, it only found the song id's or something, so I will have to track down some other DAT machines here on campus and hope there's actually something there. :) BTW, he wrote "Made in Japan 92/93" on the sleeve, so some of those songs will be quite old by now. Do any of the tracks I mentioned above make it to the album? cya later. +---------------------------------------------------------+ | Altered Perception BBS +61-66-223367 | jwilson1 | FIDO: 3:711/662.0 InterBBS: 93:641/200 24hours/day | @alsvid.scu.edu.au +---------------------------------------------------------+
