I noticed tonight that 'Psychick Rhythms' has found domestic release in the US on Kk/Restless. The copies I saw at Tower in Westwood were $9.99 on CD. Does that sound like a fair price to all the people who were complaining about the import? It's definitely domestic, and the copies I saw were in standard jewel boxes. Big "psychick cross" on the cover, you can't miss it. Are you sure this is domestic? This release isn't an album but four singles and last I saw it was in a CD single package. Secondly, I suspect that this release isn't doing very well. Here's some info from the new version of the discography I maintain which should come out quite soon: The back of the 12" says this: "Warning! This object has nothing to do with art or artificial intelligence. This double package (12" version) was designed for mixing, for breaks, for possesion, for collectors." Each track is a different rhythm, mostly just plain tribal beats and percussion yet they all sound like a remix of the same song. I suppose it is a DJ tool. ___ / / / / / / _ __/ (_/__/ / (__ (__ ___/

imo, it wouldn't be that great a loss if you do miss it. To me, the album was a great disappointment compared to "Obsidian". The only use for "Rhythms" is mixing it in together with a track from another record with shitty drums. (Sorry if this is an old thread, just had this urge to ventilate my disappointment somewhere.) -- Petter Karlstrom cl2pkarl@cling.gu.se . . .Know Your Self. . .

no, that's a shitty price. the import cost $9.99 anyway. domestic singles should not be more than $5.99. EPs $6.99. /jon
