You might want to try Odyssey Imports in Vancouver,Canada (tel.604.669.6644) seeing as Phil(aka Philth) pretty much owns the store. I picked up a 12" philth/duck from there and the 'power' track seriously melted something in my cerebrum. If you're into other vancouver based music (pure plasmic-acidic soundscapes), you might want to check the Outersanctum label-mix of Vancouver Dj's/artists(compilation #1 is availiable now and #2 I hear is due soon-contributions from philth, thcod,dremdoktor h etc.), subconscious label(philth), and Adham Shaikh's-'realignment' full cd(pure ambient/trance-beautiful. I've heard a tape of his & if the cd's the release of it then i must say get IT!). Check 'The Ambient Groove Vol 3' (ESP/Holland/cd), as phil( under XMT), and Dan Handrabour (under dreamlogik) are featured along w/ Ken Ishii, Nico, Dr.Nunu.... You also might want to subscribe to The Import index (put out by odyssey imp.), as they review their own stuff, other idm based music only, and interview artists of interest( last issue was mark gage, prev. pwog, afx etc.).................... qris (kblohm@cln.etc.bc.ca)
