eat static - abduction the more i listen to it, the more i like it. doesnt seem like they just added tracks to fill up the cd. Its very tasteful, tribal-ish, trancey and melodic too. Also, it sounds pretty original to me, there arent a lot of the coined chord progressions. rhythm invention - inventures in wonderland ive listend to this end to end three or four times, what i like about it is that after 8 or 9 tracks, i dont think im hearing the same thing over and over again. All tracks are pretty original, and many have the same instrumentation (sounds?), so theres some continuity. But that continuity doesnt make it boring because the tempos and style change, sometimes more driving, and sometimes more relaxed and dub-ish. jeez, i sound like a cheap wine critic! later plu

This is lately my favorite disc for living/driving/reading to -- it's hard as nails but manages to be beautiful and alluring at the same time. It's piled to the gills with vintage analogue gear and a strange "70's english art rock filtered through Detroit techno" feel. Highly recommended. stereolab - Transient Random Noise Bursts With Announcements ----------------- OK, so it's not dance music, but I can't think of anything else that's spent as much time on my stereo lately.
