melodic displaced ambience, unsound craterous minimally velvetty drone, strangely familiar backwater drop? who knows how to describe diablatomica's new no type release, 'the progressive works of'. this is a three-tracker that should leave most of you with your jaw hanging in the air. it's available there: http://www.notype.com for those who like a more precise description, there's a track called 'intricate & lovely.' that should sum it up well enough. & to the risk of repeating myself, i must announce that tomas jirku's 'variants' are now finished & are no longer available for download. if you have some of them, keep them because i have no idea if or when they'll be available again! soon on no type is a 5-tracker from 833-45, & a messy one at that, completely made out of shortwave samples as you like it. think of the production as an even murkier 'approximate love boat'. as for the music, it's even riskier to describe. also slated for release is a new period three single which will confuse both autechre fans & megoists alike, & probably the more conservative electroacousticians as well. come to the site often so you don't miss the noise! thank you for your time & please send us comments. (submissions are also welcome but we're a bit slow to answer them as the selection process takes time. :) ~ david --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
