I picked up the quadruple vinyl a couple hours ago ($25, same for the
cd but the packaging for the vinyl is so much cooler). I have
listened to it once now and I think it is probably my favorite orb
release (narrowly edging out adventures). The crowd noise at the
beginning of the tracks is slightly annoying but it's not that bad.
All of the tracks are different from previous mixes making everything
sound very fresh, tons of extra samples thrown in. The two new tracks
(Valley and Plateu) don't sync with what I remember from the show but
they are still good. I can't rave enough about it, go and shell out
the dough, even the casual orb listener can't afford not to. Pick up
the vinyl though, when it gets released domestically there will
probably be tons of promo cd's floating around (since they're on
Island now) and you should be able to grab 'em cheap.
one question for those who decide on the cd: do the tracks mix
together or fade out?

ps in the liner notes they thank "boulder, colorado" the butthole
surfers? and "the 350 species of shark". They also give sample
acknowldgements.
