The most recent RSW remix I can think of is Depeche Mode's "I Feel You."

That was the last thing they released in the US. A year and a half ago, they came out with a "Women Respond to Bass" single with a megamix. (I'm looking for the CD of this, BTW.) The last _I_ saw of any of the boys was their mix work on Laibach's _Kapital_. Their last product of their own was the "Thunder II" single, I think. I'm not sure on that one, though. That and Ohi Ho Bang Bang, of course. While we're on this thread, is there any kind soul out there that could be persuaded to part with their copy of the 2CD Japanese version of "In Dub"? I cherish it so very much, and Mr. EarRational sayest that it is out of print. *sob* *sob* Don't any of you out there love me? ;( If nobody wants to sell me their copy, could somebody at least post the track-listing for the Japanese version? The Dave Datta-approved discography from cs.uwp.edu is weak on this point. SankUAllVeryMuchInAdvanceAndAllDat. AladdinSane / ozymandias G desiderata

Does anyone know if the double disc version contains a song by them called "Cocaine Sex"? I've been looking for this song on CD for quite a while. Any leads on where I can pick up a copy on CD-5? -Porter

"Cocaine Sex" and "Kray Twins" were on the "Biting My Nails" CD5 (Enigma 75525-2 in the US, CD MUTE 82 in the UK). Enigma went under a few years back but you might be able to find a copy of the single in the used bins. (This was my first RSW release, picked up because they got mentioned by PWEI in "Can U Dig It?" . . . ) -- Lazlo (lazlo@triton.unm.edu)

They are (amazingly!) supposed to be nearing completion on some new material at long last. Possible promo singles appearing in December / January. -- Stephen Hebditch TQM Communications steveh@orbital.demon.co.uk

I got the 12" of Cocaine Sex (my first rsw release) 'cuz I liked it. I thought it was pretty cool of PWEI to mention RSW and I had actually already heard of them. I sold that 12" and my import Biting My Nails 12" when I got the domestic 12" of BMN which had the CS on the flip. The import of BMN, however, does *not* have CS on the flip, so check your copy before you buy. Also, what's the deal - nobody have turntables anymore? I see requests for "does anybody have the CD5 of such-and-such" all the time, and I've got the 12" for the track half the time sitting in my bins. Are the 12" formats more rare? Are the CD formats more rare? Would any of you CD zealots be interested in the vinyl format or when you ask for a CD5? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Michael King mike%delta1@rex.cs.tulane.edu Delta Systems New Orleans, LA 70002 Voice: 504.837.9835 Fax: 504.837.9838 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- "That's the letter U and the numeral 2. Usually those who are asking for the CD or CD5 of a track aren't DJs, and thus want the music for other reasons. I don't know that many people with a set of 1200s in their car :-) Also, there are some CD DJs out there (myself included, although not exactly by choice)...

I can understand the idea behind the new single and I like it. Pity it's so poorly executed though. Maybe the remixes are better. - chris@minsk.docs.uu.se

RSW have their ups and downs... Some stuff is really kewl whilst other stuff (Cocaine Sex, for example) sounds kinda like Pop Will Eat Itself on a funky binge. (Actually a lot of it sounds like that but sometimes it works, sometimes not.) -H- -- ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Howard Berkey howard@netcom.com "That's BigbooTAY!" - John Bigbootay
