In addition to our bi-monthly residency, Packin Heat, which is jumping-off like a broker in high-rise on Black Monday, we've got Mochipet fresh off a Eurpoean Tour coming to Los Angeles, along with some of the most taleneted DJS and Producers in Los Angeles to help us kick-off the Architects and Heroes parties.

Come and and join us for for our most recent residency. On the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, join us in Los Angeles for PACKIN HEAT. Soulful and deep. Expect Dub, Afrobeat, Samba, Cumbia, Classic Soul, Funk, Abstract Electro and Nostalgic hip-hop! DJ's New Berlin and Stephen R. man the decks at what will be the most unique and creatively diverse events in Los Angeles. In addition to the eclectic sounds provided by 2 of LA's most adventurous selectors, Packin' Heat will also be showcasing video art from emerging, as well as established, video artists from around the globe.
Join us for a unique sonic and visual experience, in an incredible modern space that feels more like an art gallery than a bar. The Mandrake is situated in the heart of the Culver City's Gallery Row, where it's quickly gaining a reputation as the nucleus of the area's resurgence.

Saturday July 25th, Architects and Heroes presents a night of mind-blowing sound. This is our first jump-off in LA, and we're pulling out all of the stops. This one-off, after-hours event will be at the Silver Echo Gallery, and will host some of the most amazing musicians and DJs in the game. There will be a beer & wine bar, video art and other surprises.
Pre-sale tickets will be available next week, and are highly recommended.

THE SUMMER OF FLUX

The Stephen R. / Aaron Mobley project that's been in the works for past 2 years is about to surface. The Summer of Flux mixes instrumental sounds, electronics and classical music composition into something entirely original. Having just signed to Satya Dharma for the digital release of the new record "Radio Anthems for the Newly Disenfranchised", the SOF is planning a vinyl and CD release in the summer and will be playing live performances well into 2009.
