Wow! This thing is awesome! I 've just downloaded it and followed a couple easy tutorials. I found it much easier from Max/Msp. I was wondering if there is a patch library or something like that. You know, reverse engineering is a nice way to get to know "geeky" programs like PD. One question though: When i try to save a patch this error appears "error: (save path i.e c:/idm/testpatch.pd): Bad file descriptor. I can't save anything. Can anyone help me? ___________________________________________________________ Χρησιμοποιείτε Yahoo!; Βαρεθήκατε τα ενοχλητικά μηνύματα (spam); Το Yahoo! I agree completely.

The best way to learn the full scope of Pd is to read the manual, written by the author, Miller Puckette: <http://crca.ucsd.edu/~msp/Pd_documentation/index.htm>

There are several, but I will plug my own. It's called s-abstractions, and you can find it at: <http://mccormick.cx/projects/s-abstractions/> Lots of the abstractions have useful help patches to explain how to use them.

I can't help you, but probably someone on the Pure Data mailing list can: <http://lists.puredata.info/pipermail/pd-list/> Best, Chris. ------------------- http://mccormick.cx --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
