just got the new bisk album through the door last night (thanks again
mark@hedonizm)...
not that I've listened enough to go into a lot of detail, but so far it
sounds absolutely phenomenal - skittering, shifting, beats mixed with
static, flamenco guitar, what sounds like cartoon noises, beautiful modern
avant-classical piano passages savagely cut up into bits, bowed instruments
flayed into percussive noises, laurie anderson dodging something destroying
a reichian influenced orchestra....
I love the two earlier bisk albums, but for some reason this new one sounds
very much like (given a stable enough frame of mind to deal with it) it's
going to be an album I'll be playing quite a lot :-)
