a quick review of the new kurtis mantronik album
i picked up this today,and after a few listens i think its pretty
good...nice beats,some old tunes updated (king of the beats) and another
tune that uses that bassline from "bassline" which is ace,a chemical
brothery type track,a few with raps on (heading toward the puff daddy
pop rap unfortunately),a jungly track..it all sounds like good
progression from the older mantronic stuff,and a few welcome reminders
of old hits...theres one tune where hes sampled a little too much
kraftwerk,and all through the album a female vocal keeps saying "kurtis
mantronik" ...incase you forget...
pretty good then...around 7.5/10

any reviews on the new 2lone swordsmen,its got some poor reviews in the
uk press,but i heard one tune on the radio which sounded really good..?
