Hey,
I wanted to send out a personal thank you to everyone who came out last
night to celebrate what turned
out to be the very last No Red Stopping, as well as the last Thursday for
Pluto's itself. The nightclub has
decided not to renew its lease, and is shutting its doors for good on
Saturday night. It's a shame, since
in just two short months, No Red Stopping earned a strong reputation in the
Pittsburgh community as
one of the best places to go to hear fresh DJ talent along with some of the
most bumpin' house and
techno. But no worries, we're scouting for a new location now as I write
this. Any and all suggestions are
welcome......
I'm especially grateful to the following people who made this night work:
Linda Lober, my co-resident at Pluto's, one of Pittsburgh's newest and
brightest DJ talents. Look for her
upcoming gigs at Angels and the afterhours at the paintball arena in the
strip (August 6th). Emily Merz,
who despite her summer school commitments, came out every week to work the
door for us...... thank
you. And I'm especially grateful to everyone who took a chance, came down
to party with us, and ended
up having a wicked time.
And yes, the place looked like a cruise ship disco...... hehe....... :)
Peace out.
