after 2 years of editing, recording and production, long struggles with
release-dates, label-breakdowns, pressing-plant catastrophies,
interstellar dogfights with wicked alien enemies, black holes bursts,
several hell freezings and heavenly flame infernos and a bunch of other
miscellanous obstacles I am hysterically glad to announce:
I have shipped the masters of my new studio album towards production
street. so SECOND WIND PHENOMENON will arrive ends of june 2006 to your
well-informed CD & Vinyl-checkers. the 2 x vinyl-version (5C cover) will
be issued by the all-knowing glamourous SUBURBAN TRASH label & mailorder

has been reanimated to take over regarding the CD-production. the
CD-version features an additional 16mm short-movie in XviD-format by
filmmaker ALEXANDER GERDES for which I produced score & sound-design.
"Angst" is an astonishing and touching movie describing the human effort
to overcome or fail towards facing fear - the oldest companion of humanity.
SECOND WIND PHENOMENON is the effort to provide the listener with an
intense concept-album that is worth to listen to deeply while sitting
exactly in the bitter-sweet spot of your stereo setup. this album will
not work as background-music at all. don´t hear it when you are blogging
or doing taxes. but if you are into meaningful slick, tight and
funk-obsessed drum-editing, big visual soundtrack-arrangements,
disturbing psychoactivating radio-plays, precise and dedicated
sound-design and want to look into my head then it is capable of leaving
you all sweaty and excited. there is a certain probabilty that you might
hate it. especially if you are into very, very, very minimal music.I
don´t care, we can still be friends :) tastes differ.
