The signing of this particular collection of "Duvante" works by the well
respected and consistently esoteric Multiplex label is (cliches be
damned), a match made in electronic music heaven. Early in the EP, yet
already deep in the throes of the EP opener, "Isotropic," listeners are
enticed to relax on rich chord progressions and engaged to stretch out
with upfront sprightly 808 boxwork. A meditative mix of the yin's and
yang's of electronic dance music instrumental to placing the listener into
aural nirvana. Taken as a whole, these outstanding compositions draw
comparison to the more experimental output of Detroit guru, Anthony
"Shake" Shakir. (Teep)
