He has a valid point though. I deleted the email upon receipt because it did not state clearly the location. The way it was written in the subject, I assumed "Wallingford Court", as ct is the abbreviation for court. State abbreviations in all caps - "CT" - people, with a friggin' comma after the city. You're letting people know where the show location is, not giving them track names. I.W. On 2/22/06, rickreaction <rickreaction@gmail.com> wrote:

Yes, yes it is. None of those two letter abbreviations appeared - 'ct' was in the subject, not 'CT'. I have unshakeable faith in the ability of true non-morons to not tolerate such a capitalization error, and rapidly delete the message as it is not clear. If it were a 'spelling error' as you state, this situation would be infinitely funnier, as there are only two letters in question. (The punctuation - or lack of - and resulting read of the line quoted above is quite hysterical, I might add.) Thank you for all the unintentional humor, and goodbye for good, I.W.

(The punctuation - or lack of - and resulting read of the line quoted above is quite hysterical, I might add.) If you're speaking specifically of this show and its line-up - there is only a CT date. If you just want to see Doormouse (and Anonymous) somewhere I don't know what their itinerary is and I would venture to say that if there is an RI date it'll be about a half hour closer driving distance, but it would be worth it to take that extra half hour to see this show. Wow, that's quite a sentence - I hope the grammar cops let that go. Lim - thanks for the kind words about Manic Productions. We try our best to offer a variety of shows and if we had a mission statement that would surely be part of it. Our website looks awful now, but it's getting an overhaul soon. And if there are any tours in the future you think should be in CT don't hesitate to get in touch with us. All the key info for this show will be up on the site soon enough as well - including the exact address, the line-up, cost, time, some mp3s of the artists involved, et cetera. http://www.manicproductions.org On 2/23/06, Nathan <the_definition83@yahoo.com> wrote:

Too true! Too silly! "People often think the tone or emotion in their messages is obvious because they 'hear' the tone they intend in their head as they write," Epley explains. At the same time, those reading messages unconsciously interpret them based on their current mood, stereotypes and expectations. Despite this, the research subjects thought they accurately interpreted the messages nine out of 10 times. The reason for this is egocentrism, or the difficulty some people have detaching themselves from their own perspective, says Epley. In other words, people aren't that good at imagining how a message might be understood from another person's perspective.
