This month AA is proud to present not one, but two, releases from The Skull
Defekts. This is a newly-formed outfit from Gothenburg, Sweden. The core of
the group is none other than Henrik Rylander (ex-Union Carbide Productions)
on drums and electronics, and Joachim Nordwall (ex-Kid Commando) on guitar,
effects and vocals.
"Open The Gates of Mimer"
A live document from the 2005 Norberg Festival in Sweden, entitled "Open The
Gates of Mimer" with Henrik Rylander, Joachim Nordwall, Thomas Ekelund and
Norwegian noise-god Lasse Marhaug.
"Rotating Feedback & Save The Skulls"
This 37-minute track is made up of a rolling, hypnotic thunder straight
out of the dark depths of the human mind courtesy of Henrik Rylander and
Joachim Nordwall.
"The Skull Defekts is no doubt one of the most interesting bands in
