what a memory you have!
speaking of Matmos... I saw them perform a month or two ago in Los Angeles.
They did a really excellent 20 minute piece that was a tribute to Terry
Riley (who also performed that night, wicked!) it was commissioned by the
Kronos Quartet (matmos had played it with the Quartet before, but this time
just used samples). Like I said it was really good, just kept building up.
I'm hoping it comes out on the next Kronos Quartet release!
