Hi List maybe some of you are interested in rewiews about the actual tour of autechre. I've been in Berlin last night, seeing them. Together with O.S.T., snd, Errorsmith and T.Raumschmiere. Loads of people have been there, the club was full, one could barely move around. I have to admit I didn't really like what the other acts had to show and my expectations for autechre have been very low as I already have seen them play some years ago. The only thing I knew was not to expect anything, as autechre seem to do everything in order to make something nobody would expect. But their set was great. Beginnig with some acid-like retro- sounds (in the spirit of the analoge series of AFX) they changed, getting weirder and more complex. I believe they also played some tracks of the new album, but totally different, just reminding of the original songs. The crowd was dancing, screaming, having spastical attacs and whatever you might imagine. I more felt like being on a rock concert than at a IDM-Party. This was really the first time I saw peole getting the shit out of them at a event like this. Great. Well I didn't get a view at their hardwaresetup. Actually I just saw four hands doing something, as the rest was pitch dark, but that too means they could'n have been working with any computers (beacuse one could see their faces when they were looking at some screen). Ok thats it. Maybe some of the listmembers have been there too, shooting some fotos?. I would really appreaciate having some.
